MEREBA offers law firms a package of 5 hours a year of technical consultations and preliminary notes for €450 + VAT (€544.50 incl. VAT), and a talk on digital evidence after STS 116/2025, free for bar associations. The package hours are deducted from any reports commissioned.

Preliminary technical note

The preliminary technical note is a written note of 1 to 2 pages that assesses the viability of an expert report or the weak points of the opposing one. It helps you decide on solid ground before commissioning a full report. From €180 + VAT (€217.80 incl. VAT), an amount deducted from the report if you commission it.
How we work with the lawyer
Procedural deadlines
Before quoting we ask about the procedural dates and confirm in writing whether the deadline is feasible. If it is not, we tell you at that point.
Ratification
The expert ratifies the report at trial. The terms and the geographical area are on the fees page.
Confidentiality
What the firm tells us about its client's case is used only for the engagement.
What we do not promise
The report sets out what the material allows us to conclude, with its limits. We do not promise an outcome in the proceedings.
